Prof. John Stone (USA), the chair for the symposium, is joined by Dr Emanuel Della Torre (Italy) and Dr Arezou Khosroshahi (USA).
The first session, led by Prof. John Stone (02:27), focuses on the pathophysiology and varying clinical presentations of IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD). This is followed by an audience Q&A (13:11).
The second session, led by Dr Emanuel Della Torre (15:43), reviews the classification criteria for IgG4-RD and how to diagnose the condition. This is followed by an audience Q&A (25:22).
In the third session, Dr Arezou Khosroshahi (29:53) looks at how to treat IgG4-RD and discusses the optimal use of glucocorticoids to induce and maintain remission, and summarizes the targeted treatments for IgG4-RD that are in clinical development. This is followed by an audience Q&A (39:51).
The symposium concludes with a panel discussion and a case presentation (44:06).
